Loving Peplum Ruffles!

I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend! We're having a lot of rain and storms here in Bristol lately so I've got my fingers crossed that we'll be able to spend some time out at the lake tomorrow! Speaking of storms, Brent needed some new tennis shoes so we went to Sevierville and Pigeon Forge yesterday. He was successful and ready to go after our first stop in Nike. I, of course, wasn't and ended up with workout clothes from Reebok (surprisingly cute things in there) and another Alex and Ani bracelet (the store was 65% off!). Anywho, we got lucky and it didn't rain a drop until it POURED and stormed so hard the whole hour and a half home. With lots of praying and Brent's driving skills, we made it, but it was so stressful!

I'm loving all the cute frilly things lately, especially peplum tops. I like having a lot of comfy and easy to throw on basics. This tank fits the bill for that and dresses it up a little with the ruffled bottom. So cute and soooo soft! It'll also be great to layer with in the cooler weather. I got this one at Studio 6 but I've also linked some other super cute ones that I've got my eye on!

Cozy Spring Sweatshirt

I've posted on this Free People sweatshirt 3 times so I feel like you know how much I love it by now. I love the texture this top has, the puffy bishop sleeves are adorable, and it's so cozy but still looks way cuter than a hoodie. It's still on sale for a steal of a deal for a Free People shirt, 'cause we both know they're definitely not on a list of low priced brands. I'll link below! Some reviews say to order a size down but I disagree, it's supposed to be oversized! I got my normal size (small) and love it.

My jeans don't have a very good selection of sizes left but I'll link them for ya anyway. That's just what happens when things go on a good sale I suppose!

P.S. I STILL LOVE MY LOAFERS! Go visit a store, call and order, or place an online order for some for ya self! They go with everything and are also offered in black and olive. Runs about half a size small.

Camo Tank & Fringe Booties

I've said it a million times, I love me some American Eagle. I snagged this camo tank on sale a few weeks ago and now it's on an EVEN better sale.. it's $10! It looks to be selling out quickly online but I even like the solid color ones so check those out too!

On to my iced coffee.. I recently changed up my Starbucks coffee order and tried out their toffee nut flavor and it's amazing!! Tell them you want an iced coffee with toffee nut and half & half (or whatever you like for creamer.. milk, skim milk, etc). I tell them NO extra sweetener because that's just too much for me. It's my newest go to!

Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

Jord Watch Review

Let's talk about this awesome watch for a hot second. When Jord reached out to me to help them promote their brand I wasn't sure how I felt about a wooden watch. I've never seen anything like it before! The more I looked at them the more I wanted one of my own. I'm all about anything unique and that's exactly what these are!

First of all, the packaging is amazing. It comes in a super nice wooden (surpriseee) box that even has a little slide out drawer on the bottom to keep some extra goodies in. There's also special oil to keep the band nice and smooth and a cleaning cloth included, too! Another plus, it smelled like cedar when I opened everything, and I loveee that smell.

I was curious how a wooden band would feel when worn but it's lightweight and really smooth!

My two favorite things about my Cora watch are the rhinestones on the face and the fact that you can see the watch movement on the front and back of the watch! (This watch doesn't use batteries, so it will never run down)

If I had to buy this watch for $275 I might have a hard time doing so, and I think that's only because I have a really nice MK and Kate Spade watch that I switch between and wear daily. If I didn't, it would be a great investment for a nice watch! However, if I won the $100 giveaway it would be a no-brainer and it's definitely worth $175 in my opinion. The uniqueness of this brand is one huge reason I believe these watches are worth the money and investment.

I've honestly gotten so many compliments on my Jord watch when I wear it. I feel like I'll be able to wear it with EVERYTHING in the fall/winter since it's a darker brown. For now, I like to brighten it up with some extra gold bangles and bracelets.

Most importantly, it does its job and tells me the time all while being cute and pink and looking like a ZEBRA! (Hence the zebrawood.)

Be sure to enter my giveaway so you can be the one lucky winner to get a $100 credit to Jord. Every entry will receive a $25 off code once the contest ends on June 4th.

Sweater & Distressed Denim Shorts

Can American Eagle just sponsor me already?! I wear their clothes all the time, especially their denim! I'm so glad I added these Tomgirl shorts to my collection. They're a comfortable length so I don't worry about my cheeks peeking out and they've got rips in all the right places. Lately AE has been doing BOGO 50% off on all shorts, too! I recommend getting your true size, they already have a relaxed fit so sizing up might make them too big. My sweater is sadly long gone, it's Aerie from last fall.

A full blog post on my Jord watch is coming soon! For now, enter my giveaway for a $100 credit towards your own Jord watch! Every entry gets a $25 credit once the contest ends. I'm wearing the Cora zebrawood and rose with this outfit. I absolutely love how unique these watches are. They have men's and women's, so everyone needs to enter!

Ripped Denim & Loafers

Why is it so cool to pay good money for jeans that look like you've been wearing them every day for the last ten years? I don't know either, but I'm going to keep doing it! I LOVE distressed denim. Fingers crossed it doesn't go out of style too soon because basically every pair of jeans I own have rips in them. (And I just bought some new ripped shorts, hehe.) I got these at American Eagle and wear them all the time, I love the high waist!

The bell sleeves on this off the shoulder top make my heart happy. It's a chambray color but it's a lightweight, super soft, and hard-to-get-wrinkled fabric. Some, actually most, OTS tops are such a pain to actually keep on your shoulders but this one stays down really well! I'm linking a few others in case this one sells out quickly, which I imagine it will.

I'm so into this loafer trend!! They're a nice change from the constant sandals and wedges in the warm weather. They also dress up the simplest outfits and make you look a lot more put together than you might feel 🙃

Earrings are from Charming Charlies forever ago. Ring is Stella and Dot. Necklace is Studio 6 Apparel. Purse is Tory Burch (old), I found it on eBay a while back!
